Adding a triplet

Activate the  tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+N hotkey).

If necessary, use the «Triplet» button to select the kind of the added note block (Duplet, Triplet ..). Press the «Triplet» button, and then add notes (see «Addding a note») or rests (see «Addding a rest»).

If the duration of what you want to add is too long to fit in the section of the measure you want to add it to, the addition is ignored..
