Add staff symbols

Activate the  tools tab (using the mouse or the Alt+S hotkey).
Press the «Piano»  .. «Crescendo»  .. «Trill»  .. button in this tab.
Move the mouse cursor over the staff position where the symbol should be added and press the left mouse button.
